The course examines the basic principles of biological evolution, genetics, and ecology. Using the concept of biological evolution as the central organizing principle uniting these biological sciences. The course focuses on understanding and application of scientific methodology to gain an understanding of the basic principles that describe how and why living things change over time and how they adapt to their environment.
