This course focuses on physical examination and health assessment, and its place in the clinical decision-making process within the context of a selection of nursing models. Students will identify strategies for health teaching and for health promotion. Nursing activities are explored that facilitate adaptive responses in well, acute, and chronically ill clients of all ages.
