Prerequisites: CSC 145 and MATH 201. Topics covered include the context, analysis, logical and physical design, and implementation of a database system. Examples of database application will accompany all stages of this course, giving students an opportunity to experience the entire life cycle of a database system while securing a strong and well-balanced theoretical foundation. Three hours of lecture.
