Prerequisite: Credit for BIOS 492. The student will complete a research project initiated in BIOS 492. A finished report in the format and style of a manuscript publishable in a professional scientific journal will be submitted to the advisor, reviewed by the student and advisor and revised by the student. The student will present the results and conclusion of his or her research in a style appropriate for a scientific meeting. One hour of conference and five hours of laboratory per week. 2 cr.
