This course if designed to teach pre-service teachers how to prepare children for a lifetime of literacy appreciation, and to diagnose, correct and remediate mild to moderately severe reading difficulties among children between the grades of kindergarten through six. Students will also be provided with basic knowledge of ways to utilize various media to support literacy in the classroom , including technological media instruction.
