Designed to help students develop skills required to render professional guidance to abusers of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Students will be trained to assist clients in gaining insight into their addictive disorders as well as learn to overcome those behaviors in order to maintain a drug-free life style. In addition, students will become familiar with detoxification management programs and relapse prevention.
