Description:
Principles of fluid mechanics are applied directly to airplane wing sections to produce aerodynamic lift and drag. Students are also introduced to similarity laws and dimensional analysis of wings, fuselage, and propellers, etc. Students also learn to use computer-aided analysis and design of wing sections. Prerequisites: MEEN 271 and 312. Corequisite: MEEN 395.
