Designed to introduce number system conversions, logic gates and their truth tables, Boolean law and theorems, Karnaugh simplification maps, Sum-of-Products and Product-of-Sums methods, etc. The use of algebraic and geometric techniques are covered to enable students to design efficient, reliable, and cost-effective combinational and sequential arithmetic and data processing circuits and memories. Prerequisite: EENT 212.
