Consists of experiments that are designed to demonstrate or explain the chemistry, biochemistry, and biological functions of the major classes of biological compounds: carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, enzymes, nucleic acids, vitamins, and hormones. Prerequisites: CHEM 112, 113, 132, 133, 242, 243, 220, 221, 230, and 231; CHEM 342 is a prerequisite for CHEM 343; CHEM 340 is a prerequisite or a co-requisite for CHEM 342, and CHEM 341 is a prerequisite or a co-requisite for CHEM 343.
