THIS COURSE IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS TO MASTER REQUISITE LABORATORY SKILLS AND PRACTICES USED IN THE MICROBILOGY LABORATORY. EMPHASIS WILL BE PLACED ON DEVELOPING TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY IN ASEPTIC TECHNIQUES, MEDIA PREPARATIONS, OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF BASIC LABORATORY EQUIPMENT. PREPREQUISITES: BIOLOGY 232, CHEMISTRY 133, 113.
