Course designed to familiarize the beginning researcher with general research concepts and with the methods and procedures of research in the biological sciences. Emphasis on activities designed to enable biology majors to understand and critically evaluate the research of others and to develop the skills necessary to design, conduct, and communicate the results of their own experiments. Prerequisites: BIOL 108 and 109.
