Application of principles and practices of curriculum design for students with disabilities to academic skill areas including English language arts, mathematics, science, and social science. Curriculum development in the areas of social skills, study skills, and self-management is also addressed. Emphasis is on strategies used to determine educational priorities and construction of curriculum with appropriate scope and sequence for students with disabilities. Prerequisite: SPED 446 and admission to the Department of Special Education, or consent of instructor.
