Introduces several key frameworks for understanding how firms create value by matching their internal strengths and weaknesses with the opportunities and threats posed by their environments. Examines how value creation differs as firms compete in a global setting. The course builds on innovative managerial theory, and applies key learning using cases and managerial exercises. Prerequisite: Enrollment limited to students in the Professional Science Masters Program.
