Lecture component of the Foundational Biology laboratory (BIOL 3012). Focus on the California State Science Standards and designed to prepare pre-service and in-service teachers for the CSET General Science Subtest in Biology with the goal of obtaining a Foundational Science Credential. Prerequisites: BIOL 1001 and 1002, 1000, high school biology, or equivalent; satisfaction of the Entry Level Mathematics (ELM) requirement. Not open to Biology majors.
