This course will explore the definition and place of object relations in psychoanalytic theory. The context is divided into three parts. First an examination of the influence, differences and similarities of Freud's Drive Theory, Sullivan's interpersonal view in development of the self. Second, object relations theory of Donald Winnicott, Faifbairn etc.
