For majors. Introductory analysis of the various biological concepts at the molecular, cellular, and organismal levels. First semester: biochemistry of molecules, enzyme kinetics, cell biology, cellular energetics, cellular reproduction, genetics, and molecular biology; second semester: population biology, evolution, botany, comparative animal physiology, and ecology.
