Prereq: ITEC 171 or permission This course provides the student with an introduction to the aeronautical experiences required to effectively pursue careers in aviation. In this course the student will become familiar with the training airplane through dual instruction and solo practice and will learn how the airplane controls are used to establish and maintain specific flight attitudes. The student will also learn to plan and conduct cross-country flights using pilotage, dead reckoning, and radio navigation.
