Prereq: ART 346A* Plaster, Cement and Mixed Media. This course will introduce the use of plaster and cement as manipulation, fabrication and casting media. Armature construction and mold making will be taught along with a variety of finishing processes. The use of maquettes as a means to large or monumental sculpture concepts will also be taught. Other mixed media concepts will also be introduced. Creative originality and craftsmanship will be stressed. (Materials fee of $100.00)
