P: K211 or permission of instructor. The course will cover time-based digital media techniques as well as delve into discussions about video artists and digital artists, critical thinking, language, and aesthetics as it relates to, and affects personal creativity and expression. This investigation will be accomplished through a combination of producing work, using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, and Macromedia Director; discussing the work of other photographers who work with digital imaging; and historical lectures. Prior knowledge of computer basics and Adobe Photoshop required.
