An emphasis is placed on the chemical features of biomolecules including hormones and neurotransmitters, proteins, lipids (fats), carbohydrates (sugars), and nucleic acids (DNA/RNA). The chemistry of enzymes, carcinogens, vitamins, antihistamines, anesthetics, genetic engineering, mental health, and other health-related topics.
