This course is developed for the student who aspires to apply the sequential process of story-telling through the format of children's literature. The course will expose the aspiring illustrator to the pattern and rhythm of communicating a central theme. Thematic illustration is a research-based class which will immerse the student into the process of developing an image from the primitive sketch to the final image. Prerequisites: ART-474.
