Examines the connections between racial, gender and class oppression and the subjugation of the non-human environment. Reading works by scholars such as Carolyn Merchant, Vandana Shiva, Karen Warren, Greta Gaard and Mary Mellor, we will examine feminist environmental thought, exploring the theoretical links between women, nature and culture, and connecting these theories to women's environmental praxis.
