Exploration of the basic elements of theatrical performance and stage presence. Introduction to theatre vocabulary, performance concepts and skills, and the creative process through kinesthetic, vocal, sensory and imaginative exercises, as well as improvisation and stage action. An ensemble approach that relies on individual and group commitment and collaboration. (Proseminar.) Open only to sophomores and juniors, and to seniors with the consent of the instructor.
