Topics of study include modern supervision challenges, functions of the supervisor, and skills of the supervisor. Additional emphasis is placed on the acquisition and development of supervisory skills in the workplace to include such skills as ethics, teamwork, diversity, goals, change, conflict, communication, motivation, leadership, and decision-making.
