Introduces students to the critical thinking, reading, writing and rhetorical skills required in the college/university and beyond, including citation and documentation, writing as process, audience awareness; and writing effective essays. Prerequisite(s): Completion of ESLN, a “C” or better in ENGL 062 or ENGL 063, or Placement Test score of 8, or ACT of 18. Students must complete developmental reading requirement prior to taking ENGL 101.
