Masterpiece: This oft (ab)used epithet, applied to everything from a pre-schooler's finger painting to a Picasso portrait, suggests a creative enterprise of unrivaled achievement and quality. Using some of the finest examples of human creative expression--specifically, work on view at the Cleveland Museum of Art--this SAGES seminar will celebrate, critique, and question the "masterpiece" designation. Prereq: Passing letter grade in a 100 level first year seminar in USFS, FSSO, FSCC, FSNA, FSSY or FSCS. Prereq or Coreq: FSTS 100.
