Health care in the U.S. may be approaching a critical cross-road. Socialized medicine? National health insurance? This course deals with issues of cost, quality, and access to health care in the United States and other societies. It considers how solutions by other societies can provide directions for the organization of health care in the U.S. Offered as SOCI 355 and SOCI 455. Prereq: SOCI 101 and Sophomore standing.
