Transport phenomena. Chemical thermodynamics and its application to chemical systems. Equilibrium. Ionic solutions and electrochemistry. Introduction to chemical kinetics. Recommended preparation: One year each of undergraduate physics and calculus, including partial derivatives. Prereq: CHEM 106 or equivalent.
