A continuation of Japanese 302, developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in the discussion of social issues in contemporary Japan. Topics may vary according to the level of the students. This is an EDI course. In addition to involving immersion in a Japanese environment, much of our focus will be on the ways that various cultural issues are perceived and addressed differently (and, in many instances, in similar ways) in Japan and the US.
