This course will focus on current research on the psychological functioning of Latino/as in the United States. Students will become familiar with how psychologists (and other social scientists) have investigated the behavior of Latino/as (e.g., cultural identities, belief systems, language, mental health, etc.) and the contexts for their behavior (e.g., gender families, communities, religion, school, media, etc.)
