Social, economic, political and cultural dimensions of health care delivery are identified and related to healthcare quality. The concept of complexity and its impact on health care is examined. The focus of this course is helping you develop an understanding of the different facets of our health care system so that you have an appreciation of what your patients experience is and can work more effectively as a nurse.
