This course extends the knowledge and skill introduced in EDCE 585 as students begin the application of learning in their practicum. Emerging issues in the school setting are covered in a discussion format. Instructional and counseling strategies (multiple intelligences, solution focused counseling, resilience research, and other related topics) that support student academic and personal/social success are taught.
