This course will utilize case analyses and workshop approach to examine the perspectives of all involved in high level crimes (Murder in the first degree and related cases). The class will examine in-depth the standpoint of law enforcement (crime analysis, forensics, etc.), witnesses (experts and lay), the prosecutor, defense counsel, judiciary, the victim(s) and their families (and formal victims advocates), and the defendant(s)/alleged suspect(s). those with a future in law and/or law enforcement will be especially well served.
