Major activities reviewed include development of IT strategy that aligns with the organization's strategy and defining a portfolio management approach to applications and their sourcing, dealing with increasing regulatory and compliance issues and the management of processes within IT, guided by standards (ISO 20000) and frameworks (e.g., CMMI, COBIT, 6-Sigma, etc.), while juggling change management in the global environment.
