Description:
This course focuses on individual income taxation as it is affected by various factors, including different forms of business, intra-family asset transfers, tax advantaged investments, charitable contributions, and tax planning alternatives. Case analysis is used to gain skill in evaluating a client's current tax situation and making recommendations to minimize taxes. Equivalent to ACCT 5330 Introduction to Taxation through Spring 2007. Students cannot take FINA 6365 and ACCT 6365 and receive academic credit.
