Topics include algebraic relations and functions, equations, exponents and logarithms, inequalities, linear programming, and elementary probability. Problem solving will be emphasized throughout. Not open to students who have credit for MAT 1025, MAT 1030 or MAT 1110. Not appropriate preparation for MAT 1110. Prerequisite: must pass placement test or MAT 0010.
