An introduction to modern dance as an art form with the beginning practice of movement technique. Emphasis will be on the discovery of skills to develop the articulation and expressiveness of the body. The course will be an introduction to the medium of modern dance through the concepts of time, space, force and direction while integrating alignment and placement.
