This course provides a basic understanding of current information technologies used in business, and enhances the use of the most common computer-based applications for personal, academic, and professional goals. Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to use application software such as Microsoft Office to make better decisions and improve their individual skills. Other topics covered include the use of other information technologies including collaboration and communication tools, emerging technologies and digital media, and security.
