An introduction to photography. This course offers a foundation in the basic technical skills and aesthetic knowledge needed to create fine art photography. Historical and contemporary issues, critical thinking, and visual analysis will be emphasized though oral discussion and written documentation. A camera is required per the instructor’s directions. Prerequisites: ART 1001 and ART 1003, or permission of the instructor. Lecture and studio four hours.
