A general introduction to a broad range of basic fibers processes and materials, such as dyeing and block printing, papermaking, felt-making, tapestry and wearables. Emphasis is on the development of technical fibers skills with application to individual works of art and design. Prerequisites: ART 1001, ART 1002, and ART 1003. Lecture and studio four hours.
