This course is the second half of an introduction to the structural elements of art. It examines the organizational principles of threedimensional design and the study of equipment and materials used in this area of art making. Emphasis is on three-dimensional vocabulary, understanding of sculptural space, the use of hand and power tools, materials manipulation, and processes related to three-dimensional art. Prerequisite: ART 1001. Lecture and studio four hours.
