Continuation of VIET C185 or VIET C185B. Intermediate-level course designed to enhance comprehension of both spoken and written Vietnamese. Speaking, listening, reading, and writing in and about modern Vietnamese will be stressed. Cultural and philosophical aspects of the Vietnamese-speaking world, including that of Vietnamese-Americans, will also be addressed and critical thinking from a Vietnamese perspective examined. PREREQUISITE: VIET C185 or C185B or equivalent competency. Graded or Pass/No Pass option.
