Description:

A technique course exploring the use of space, energy, rhythm, improvisation while emphasizing body control, alignment, use of weight changes and quality within a modern dance movement vocabulary. High intermediate and advanced levels. Students should be prepared to participate at the first class meeting. May be taken for grades or on a pass-no pass basis. This course may be taken four times. PREREQUISITE: Successful audition. This prerequisite will be validated in class during the first week of the course. Transfer Credit: CSU; UC.
