Second segment of a two-part course in beginning painting. Involves the student in selection of image, color theory and color mixing, methods, materials, and techniques of painting, with emphasis in oil and acrylic painting. The concept and creative process of making art will be examined in historical and multi-cultural contexts. This course is required for Art Majors and includes written and verbal critiques.
