Words are the brickwork of writing, the basic elements that convey meaning, but choosing the right words can be confusing and frustrating. Here you will learn more about synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, inappropriate and sensitive language, and commonly misspelled and confused words. This course is bound to improve your ability to be readily understood. (Not Applicable to A.A. Degree.) Pass/No Pass only. This course does not work well on a Mac computer. If you have access only to a Mac, do not register for ENGL C001-010.
