Description:

As in the regular course, honors students will study the history of art, beginning with Prehistoric art and concluding with Gothic art, including Western and Non-Western cultures of this period. However, additional reading, discussion, written assignments and museum exploration will supplement the class work required for the standard Art G105/Humanities G100 course. The Honors course will also intensify the focus on research, exploration and critical thinking.
