The fundamentals of sculpture are investigated through a series of conceptual and technical projects. 3 material processes are introduced, including wood, metal and paster casting. Issues pertinent to contemporary sculpture are introduced through lectures, group critiques, discussions, and field trips that accompany class assignments.
