Type of course: Lecture, Discussion In this course students will learn about the science of interpersonal relationships. The course will focus specifically on what psychologists have learned about attraction and what people look for in a long-term partner, the experience of love and intimacy, communication in intimate relationships, the role of personality and personal history in relationship satisfaction, interpersonal conflict and problem solving, parenting and co-parenting, and therapies designed to improve and strengthen relationship health. Prerequisite: PSYC 101
