This course examines a range of ethical issues associated with the major areas of accounting including, tax and managerial / financial accounting. Furthermore, the ethical theories that underpin decision making in accounting are covered as well as the dimensions of professionalism in the field. A combination of case analysis, issue papers, reactions to outside speakers and class discussion are used to evaluate students in this course.
