The subjects covered include basic networking concepts of transmission, topology and switching; highlights of TCPIP protocol; hardware and software needed, and Internet applications of sending and receiving e-mail, navigating through gopher holes, accessing newsgroups, and accessing other computers through telnet and World Wide Web.
